Plus the case has got an extra compartment built into it on the outside of the case which allows you to organize your screws, bits, and tips neatly. Batteries charge in about 30 minutes from zero juice to full. This little spitfire not only is by far the most controlled and powerful impact, but its comfortable. You would think that this gun would be alot heavier but its actually lighter (at 3.3 pounds) then the older Makita 12v. The light really works great if you're into cabinets all the time or you are in less then perfect lighting situations. It's got great control too even with screwing on hinges, hardware for cabinets, ect. Highly recommended by someone who uses this bad boy everyday. By far worth every penny and would buy again. I also have the 18v lxt hammer drill which is a great tool as well. One year update: march 2007 Still feel the same and this thing runs like a champ. Still no problems what so ever. 4 year update. march 2010 this thing is still going! After everyday use. Im still impressed.
